Actually I stopped fasting this Wednesday night. It lasted six or seven hours. I couldn't keep it for two weeks. However, I should not take it as stigma. A bunch of elite hunger-strikers gave me tons of admiring emails.
"Nice fasting!",
"Seven-hour fasting is incredible for the first attempt!",
... and so on.
I am truly glad at these cheesy flatteries.

fasting
I decided to stop eating for a while. I heard short-term fasting is good for us. It may be mentally painful. However, it is absolutely worth trying. Moreover, I can save food expense.
You might wonder how long we can go without food. Here's the answer:

We can survive up to three weeks. Then I won't take any food except water for two weeks, which must be a safe fasting duration. But it will be greatly appreciated if you help me when you find myself in a fatal condition during the fasting.
Love.

rejected
Not surprisingly, today I was rejected by a small grad school in California. Usually, the statements of refusal letters are stereotyped, lengthy, and extremely polite. But the institute gave me a beautifully terse email:
"Our institute is off limits to crappy students."
Whew!

topology girl now 27
Today is the topology girl's birthday. She is no longer 26. I hope she will become more topological this year. We had a really good birth day gathering at a jazz cafe in a town in the Midwest. As a birth day gift, I gave her an authentic Italian pizza named my leftover. But she was not impressed with the awesome present. Totally I don't know why.

One more pregnant
I found one more pregnant female (31 estimated) in my social circle. My social association is fairly limited. It is a huge coincidence that there are as many as three expectant mothers within my circle.
Slightly different topic from pregnancy. I am thinking of participating in the next Olympic winter game in Vancouver with my friend (28) from Gambia. The country is located at latitude 13° 28' north and longitude 16° 39' west. This coordinate implies that no Gambian delegation of Olympic winter games. As long as we finance ourselves, we'll be selected. My Gambian friend is still torn between going along and not going along with this plot.

Mr tight
Did you know Mr tight (32) is coming back to the town? He left for Africa last summer to tighten himself more and more. Before leaving, he was 5.6 garbers (garber is an international measurement unit of tightness). Avegrage American guy is only as tight as 1.8 garbers. You can see how tight Mr tight is. He took intensive tightness training in African jangle. He said the training menu was strictly secret. When I talked with him over phone, his voice sounded so confident. Guessing from the conversation, around 9.8 garbers? Could be more? I am looking forward to measuring him.
pregnancy
I've never gotten pregrant. But I wish someday...
Anyway, two of my friends (29 and 32) are now expecting. Both the babies will be born this summer. I wonder there is some seasonal pattern of baby birth. In which month are babies born most?
Statistics from an area in Japan shows that Aug is the first, July is next and May is on the third place. Summer seems to be most productive. In general, the gestation period lasts from 8 to 10 months. Calculating back, I can say that the the starting point would be around fall. Suggestive autumn. I like it.

Topology
You remember the topology girl (26) I mentioned below, right? Often I can't read her. When she said "I'm bored" at her little age, her mother automatically and immediately reacted "Then, clean the kitchen." just like a machine. She replied so even if the kitchen was as clean as a brand new one.
high-maintenance wife
A tall female with awfully white teeth (30) begged me to tell her my blog address. I think she is attractive (seriously). She deserves the access right to my blog. However I shouldn't have told her... She seems to have fowarded my secret blog address to Benks-Links Co., Ltd.( a notoriously deceitful food company in DC). It sold off a crappy white car (almost scrap) at a completely rip-off price. I've heard that a guy who had been tricked into buying the car was living on the street. I really pity him.

by and until
Did you know the fact that by and until are unexchangeable? Actually they are. Only extremely discerning people are aware of this subtle difference. Are you with me? Okay. Sweet.
I have nothing to write any more. Updating blog regularly is a kind of pain for me. Let me suspend my blog for a while. I'm growing a cactus in my office. I've never watered it. Never.
writing
Hello. I decided to quit counselling. I found I was not cut out to be a counselor. I feel like...humm..., I, maybe, want to do something like a job that I can probe into other's privacy. I am fairly inquisitve.
I think there are tons of bloggers on the earth. I'm wondering how they find things to write on their blogs. Writing something is just painful for me. Listen. I have to write a ten-page critique for a class by next Monday. I've managed to write half a page. I could expand my half-page shit to ten pages by adding something empty. Ten-page..., it is colossal bullshit, isn't it? But, in the realm of social sciences, students who can mystify their ridiculously simple ideas by using pretentious big words are supposed to be good. Sadly, I'm not a brilliant storyteller.
Today I borrowed a topology book from a female student (26). It seems to be for non-experts. She has opened the topology book just once. She doesn't like smell of vinegar. Pretty much that's all I know about her.
