
It's now thickly cloudy. We have a cloud day for the first time after it has been hopelessly cloudless for about a fortnight. So the intense heatwave, which has been baking Japan, is significantly weakened. Fairly comfortable now.
However, I really wish it were entirely cloudless until tomorrow morning. A total lunar eclipse is expected tonight. We have a high chance of rain, and virtually no chance to watch the celestial pageant.
